Please excuse the bad shifting... I just put a MR short shifter in and gear selection is now very easy... unfortunately my brain still thinks I have to fight it. First event was the Albany Windfarm hillclimb. I struggled on this course, and with a few cars coming to grief, I took it fairly easily. I came second to a very well dríven Honda Integra.
The SRT sprint I could commit to a bit more and as a result I got a good time winning class. The time was only a few seconds off the fastest open wheeler outright.
The engine with this intake is a powerhouse. I'm shifting at 8200 down to 6200 through most gears and it's right at the guts of the powerband. I'm not used to having to fight the rear to stop it breaking out so my driving is a lot less controlled than I'm used to. The car will be very quick once I've dríven it a bit more and gotten used to the power.
