Competition Systems in Melbourne sell Cat Cams, however not sure the cost. Give Patrick a ring on +613-9015-9595. Patrick can be very hard to get hold of, keep trying it is worth it

Competition Systems are the people who supplied the Jenvey ITB's as well as provide tuning suggestions to tune out the torque dip.
There is also some arguments for and against about using re grind cams, but this should be the subject of another post.

400 ISH...
Cams from Wozzah1975 on this forum were what I was referring to and the ones I used. Think they were $440 2 years ago when I got mine..

Thanks rascal, I'd probably do the head anyways, have a valve issue and want to increase compression. Will also do timing belt/water pump and don't want to revisit unless I have further issues, so head at the same time as cams makes sense to me.

Also I believe if you use good valves with double springs you can raise your rev limitter .. But that is only effective if it is making power at higher revs, My rev limmiter is set at 8200rpm I've actually run it over 10,000 on a dyno,
I'm no expert on this but it might be worth exploring.

Thanks johnny, wow I was expecting to pay more for cams. Will also do the valve springs but won't decide which ones til cam is chosen. Have to speak to engine builder re valve sizes but is also on the cards.
Should be in a position to buy cams next month and take it from there.

Valve sizes and cams should be selected to match the flow of the head.

Do I win the N/A Prize ? 175 rwkw
8200 rpm on Pump Fuel sure it's cheating slightly to use a Honda K24/K20
Frankenstein Motor with custom extractors and exhaust, dry sump etc...
It has a little bit of the Torques as well.
Stage 2 - 3 specification would be upgraded Valvetrain, Camshafts on E85
easy 200+ rwkw available if the car is lacking punch or feeling slow
in a few months.

Bog stock SVT has done over 180000km. with 84rwkw, Maxim works extractors and custom intake, do low 1.10 at Wakefield...you don't need lots of power to go fast.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

I'd love to put my 2c worth in Mark, but I don't have a MS of either series, so therefore I can't. )

I agree, a stock NB8B motor with stock ecu, full exhaust, and pod filter is so much cheaper. Oem running, reliability and good fuel consumption. Mine made 94rwkw. And just under 90rwkw with Oem intake.
People focus so much on power. It really is not the answer to everything.

Re: How many RWKW do you have with what mods?
I have had a 205 kw atw NB. My current nc 2006 only makes 103.8 kw atw and half the torque of the NB. With 4:1 diff though it has plenty of punch and is an absolute blast too drive.Strange how a 100 kws difference doesn,t detract from the driving pleasure.
