Hmmm. I don't know about NCs, but NA/NBs are done without taking the radiator out (I think). There may be more room there though.
Bottom line is its still a darn-site better than an engine swap!

Better? Not so sure. I am not a big fan of NCs, but a 2.5 has a lot going for it. If I didn't have an SE, one could tempt me ...
