Now I'm confused. Turning the CAS is what you're meant to do, and he turned it the right way by the sounds of it.

LOL... Sasso, we are talking the same language but just a different dialect. :)

What I meant was IF you turn the CAS WITHOUT jumping the TEN & GND terminals. THIS does nothing.
Agreed?

Hey just adding my 2c.

I did this to my NA8. It seemed to lose low end power when adjusted to 14 degrees BTDC. 12 degrees seems to be the sweet spot for my car.

I'm running BP Ultimate 98 and I reckon response when accelerating out of a corner is better now.

I got Graemebc (forum member and neighbour) to do mine, seemed a lot better right through the whole range, but 91octane seems to be the best fuel to get it running smoothest.

I finally got around to getting a timing light and doing this a while ago, it definently makes a difference.

I ran 12 degrees on 91 octane for a while while petrol was more expensive, the car felt a bit torqueier. Now petrol prices are down a bit i'm running 14-15 degrees on 98. The car feels livlier and more responsive down low. Definetly worth doing
