bumping up a fossil thread.
i hope to have some maximworks headers and a new metal cat in the mix by the end of this year, meaning i will have a full exhaust and intake system on my car. i'm looking for some more power + torque without having to touch the internals, so the next step must be an ECU.
there doesn't look like there are too many ecu's on the market that can play around with the vvt. from what i recall, maruha ecu, hydra nemesis, haltech e8, motec and the old SP motorsport ecu were capable of this. i don't want to sell my liver to get an ECU (or a piggyback, more particularly). i had my eye on the SP motorsport (as it was the most affordable and did what i really needed) but it looks like the tuner is getting more ill so if it is tuned now and there is a stuff up later on down the track, i'd be having some dramas because there's no one else that can tune it.
what ecu's do nb8b owners have out there?

I think Autronic should be able to handle VVT. Also may want to check out Vipec:

Both are easily available in Australia
