I thought I’d chime in here with my thoughts. I dríven a few of Chris’s NC’s over the years including doing Targa Tasmania last year and Targa Wrest Point this year. At the weekend I got the chance to drive the identical car I drove at Targa which has now been reflashed. What a difference!! The extra pull goes right through the rev range and the torque has definitely increased too. The best thing however is the instant feedback through the accelerator. Gone is that usual vagueness I've found in most fly by wire set-ups. I was so impressed I’m getting my BMW 130 road car done ASAP!!

I can only say that the ECUnleashed ones come via Piasini in Italy. They are a leading, world recognised and well respected tuning company at the forefront of the industry. I would imagine the tunes would be similar.

This is correct Michael. We have tried both the Dynotronics one and the ECUnleased tunes. Our ECU tuning business is http://www.performancechiptuning.com.au and we offer the ECUnleashed tune files.

Brian was at the workshop today and I walked him through the flashing of an ECU using the Piasini equipment. We reflashed a ECU for another NC similar to what we'll be doing tomorrow with Adam's one. The feedback from all those that have tried the ECUnleashed reflash is very promising. Even my Mum thought her road car seemed "extra zippy" 8)

All of the mx5 tuning you are seeing in Australia( with the exception of the motoeast) is based on work done exclusively by Dynotronics here in the United States. We are the North American automotive Partner for Piasini Engineering.

Deckspeed racing is our agent in Australia. As such they are the only company selling the latest versions of our tuning. They are also the only company backed up by our tuning and reflash experience.

Mines been done by Daniel for over six weeks now. I'll dyno and post the result after I get back from the US. Now in LA.

I'll also report on hard top vs soft top Mustangs in three weeks. The hard top does fit two big bags in the boot and eats fuel  as a great rate.

Agree 100%. Flash tune claims are much more convincing if they're backed by reliable test data. Let's see some please. Ideally: same dyno, same settings, before & after installing the flash. Would be nice to have power, torque and AFR data. 8)
