Nope - no significant torque or bottom end loss. And your power gains will be well worth it. However, the gains and losses, as everyone has already said, will be negligible. You might feel some very minor difference, you might detect a <5% improvement - but the main difference will be the improvement in exhaust note (if you do the cat-back/muffler option).

and if im going to spend 3K wouldnt i just be better off buying like a SE turbo kit second hand?

$3K will not buy and install a turbo kit in your NB8. It is possible to buy kits for $3K, but unless you can install and tune it yourself, it will cost you almost that much again to get it up and running. Plus, these "kits" generally come with key components missing (such as aftermarket ECU which will be needed to run your boosted engine). Most second hand units, too, will be missing key parts such as hose fittings, gaskets, crush washers, etc which adds even more $$$ to the cost.

i Thought the NB8B came standard with about 105KW?
ive got a pod filter and so thought i had about 110?

The figures you are quoting are what the factory claims the engine makes.
The RWKW quoted is what a dyno measures after power loss through gearbox, diff, old age and tune.

Generally no 2 dyno's will give the same result, then add in variables like air temperature and air density and even the same dyno will give different results.

Only true way to compare is either the same car on the same dyno on the same day (close to the same time) or the same car on the same dyno on the same type of day.

Dyno's are a great tuning tool, however the numbers they produced are generally a pissing competition.
