Review: Town & Country Exhaust System

Postby toymx5 » Mon May 25, 2009 3:02 pm

I know, I got quoted up to $1,700 for systems which aren't as good !! I think T & C are really prepared to look after our club members and have a long relationship with 'pcmx5' who helped develop the system with them. It's a good example of a win/win situation with T & C, they look after our club memebers with a great product at a great price and we tell our friends and fellow member's about them :)

pcmx5 can you answer this question ?

I think probably press bend which isn't really an issue with an MX5 system as there's not many bends in it ! I'll have a look at the pipe going over the rear axle and into the muffler tonight which is the only significant bend in it and let your know tomorrow.

yes, stevesports is correct, I just had a look and it is a press bent system but I wouldn't let that worry you, the proof is in the perfomance increase and response improvement it's given and the sound which is just glorious :)

I've got a T&C system. The point about it is that you go to T&C, they spend 2 hours on it and then you drive home with a system that sounds beautiful, goes like the powers of and doesn't fall apart over a few bumps.

Alternatively you can spend heaps more time and money on something that's half as good and lasts 6 months. I've been there.

Another happy T&C owner. Seat of the pants the car feels like it has a bit more mid range torque and sounds great. I've had heaps of people comment how good the car sounds. I reckon their system is great value.

I have one of their surfboards
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
