i'd rather use biodiesel from a fish n chip shop than shell fuel

What did i miss regarding shell fuel?

Can't say I have ever had a problem with it, was there some sort of incident with it?

i had an M6 many years ago that used to run like a dream until i started feeding it optimax, it seemed to love mobil fuel. My mex starts to shiver and splutter if i am forced to run it on optimax, but is happy with bp/caltex/mobil premium fuels.*shrugs*
