KOYO RACING RADIATORS ?? anyone using them?

Kula the wording you have quoted does not say they supply OEM it says "manufacture and distribution of OEM grade radiators in the aftermarket" Notice the last word is aftermarket. Their manuf plant is in Indonesia and it specifically says they make for the aftermarket. I was aware of Calsonic and Denso for OEM and you may well be right that Mazda uses Koyo - I simply do not know first hand and no mention on their site that I noticed.
Pur157 doubted the balance of low cost, high quality, and meet spec- that is exactly what OEM demand and generally get though suppliers work more on turnover than margin.Failure on any of those aspects will lose a co business. Margins are generally low and OEM's often demand all cost inputs ie cost disclosure.

Thats a fairly naive parallel to make though Morlock.

Just because a deal is made with a manufacturer to provide OEM parts doesn't mean that a flow on will follow to the rest of their range.

I reckon it does flow on- the systems behind OEM manufacture that is a Quality system using statistical process control, design FMEA's, 6 Sigma approach and the like are light years in front of most companies who do not have to contend with extremely demanding OE customers who can audit them virtually on demand. The thinking is that a fully functioning management/quality system should produce a consistent high quality item to the customer.

anyway,

I have seen the coolingpro, PWR and a couple of others, and I think the Koyo
is the best ready made radiator you can buy for an MX-5.
