I'm glad I changed dealers long before the 100k service was due........
Shiney black one with added red bits. Member of the fart club. Now with extra doof and Sunlong. - deceased and gone to heaven

Yeah, my experience has soured somewhat knowing what I do now.

Add to that the loose PPF bolt (just like Pierre's on the putty run), cutting the headlight connectors off and electrical taping the wires to the back of the globe, bending the gearstick and cutting the wrong end off the wiper blades. I don't have a very high opinion of dealer servicing at the moment...

I had a similar problem not long back on my NA8. It turned out to be the undertorqued bolt as well. We ended up rewelding the crank nose to repair the keyway, using an aluminium shim to fill the keyway whilst welding it up, then die grinding it back, and all was fine. Still cost more than a couple of bucks though.
It looked like the earlier posted photo, keyway was flogged out to the left as you look at it, and allowed for about 10 degrees of play.
The problem reared its head at about 125K, and I bought the car at about 115K, so the 100K sevice was handled by the previous owner. Looks like the service guy just didn't do it properly!
