Lol, no, I just thought I'd post something in keeping with what I'm guessing Vu posted originally, thats my NA8 when I put the turbo engine in four years ago.
I'm pulling all the turbo stuff out and putting it back to standard Clubman spec, I've barely dríven it in the last five or six years.
Once thats done and I've sold some of the bits and maybe the MX5, I'm getting an FD1 Civic and putting the driveline out of the Type R into it, time to have a car that is amusing to drive but that I don't need to always be looking for police cars, can actually park it places and ust get in and drive without it being a hassle. Plus I'm sick of having cars where my head is against the roof, I have to crouch in the MX5 and tip my head to the side AND crouch in the DR30 (and no, I don't really drive the MX5 with the hardtop off, I think I've only dríven it without it a couple of times since I bought the hardtop... I sing along with whatever hair-metal I'm listening to haha, gets way too embarrassing with no roof
Civic should be ok even if its fwd, should be roughly the same power/weight ratio as the MX5 (although no midrange torque) and it'll have the 6 speed box and LSD and I'll get a bunch of underbody braces to make up for it not being seam welded like a CTR

Interesting to catch-up on what ol acquaintances are up to ey. The original photo I posted up for the April fools I can't find again, but it was turbotim's twin turbo Miata in the US. A white NA with very similar white wheels to yours, the photo was slightly cropped to cut out the brake booster to stop people realizing it's a left side steering car
So the CTR is what you've been driving mostly in recent years?

Re: why AdamNAclubman is off the road? - April Fooled
No it was my brother's, I drove it once I think. I bought another DR30 Skyline coupe right before the Tsunami, then had it sitting around here for a year before I put it on the road in September last year, but I've only done a couple of thousand kays in that, including a trip to Goulburn to do Wakefield Park. I think I might have dríven the MX5 a handful of times in the last couple of years, I drove it for a couple of days for work while the i30 was getting the damage from a truck reversing into it fixed and the bloody intercooler ripped the locating nuts out of the chassis and fell out on Unley Road at 5pm, thankfully I was going really slowly at the time. It did look like a kinda of bodgy place to mount it, but it was where the kit said to do it....... Ended up just putting big washers on either side and nylock nuts but also put some cableties loosely just in case it ripped out again to at least stop it from hitting the ground. I was really lucky that it didn't puncture the cooler. The silicon hoses stayed clamped on too haha, normally people complain about their hoses popping off lol
I just don't drive much at all, and when I do, I usually take the i30 because its not a hassle like the Skyline and the MX5. Path of least resistance and all that...
I see the 323 sometimes I think
