20,000km on the toyota cops shown just above on my 1.6.
Crap I don't think I've changed the spark plugs yet either

When the dollar was strong I got them for $50 delivered with connectors, they have a built in ignitor, so you wire them to where your ignitor would sit on the driver's side inside guard.

They are handling 12 psi with the standard plug gap, helping the car idle at a nice factory 14.7 afr.

Grab Corolla ones, VW golf ones are nice too but they haven't got the mounting tab, you would have to make up a plate to hold them down as they eventually lift and start misfiring.
Huh?

I'd be careful about the 'Splitfire' setup, do some research on the big forum. I won't say any more as my memory is vague.

I have just put the Toyota COPs on the racecar, $95 for four from a wrecker :D , just be sure to get the wiring connectors off the harness as well, unless you like doing your wiring from scratch :|

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Do you mean the female plugs? instead of cutting the original connector and soldering?

As mentioned, any 1zzfe engine coils are the easiest to work with, they have the little mounting hole which i judst drilled and taped a spare valve cover and usred threaded rod to hold mine down.

If those are proving hard to find, the ones off the prius models work as well, forget about camry ones, they are huge.

You can also use audi or vw golf ones Anything fromt he mk5 onwards (2000+) but they don't have any mounting tabs as they are held in with a spring type clip on their respective cars . the easiest way is to hold them down with flat bar bolted to the front and rear valve cover nuts.

The corolla ones work ok with the standard ecu. They get a little hot with the increased mazda dwell, but mine didn't die. Now they're running the correct dwell settings with the megasquirt. The vw ones were just kicking around and as it was a lazy weekend and i was tidying up the original loom, they were tried on and worked the same. I've onsold them now though.
Huh?

I think it would be easier finding Corolla than Prius coils lol.

Not to mention 1zzfe is also in the MR-S.
