How do you go about a re-tune if mania ceases trading, or you have a falling out with them, or if they have a falling out with Walter & Daniel?
That's a good question Sean and I guess we're all hoping it never gets answered. At the end of the day though, any Tuning shop or ECU manufacturer could close up tomorrow. Bloody inconvenient but fixable.
Tinkered with 1991 NA6

I was thinking more due to it's limited market. I mean microtech, Motech, Haltech, Wolf etc could all cease trading tomorrow, but they are very well accepted by tuners already (ie there are more than 2 guys in the world who tune them) and there is a lot of documetnation around to assist you to learn to use the software yourself if need be.

Admittedly lots of guys, Benny for example, probably use it as a set and forget ECU and will not plan to do much with it in the future, but I'd still want some peace of mind incase something went wrong.

Couldnt not agree more Sean. Very diplomatically put. Even buying a Wolf is a dubious proposition these days let alone a Mania ECU. Wolf as very poor tuner support, and pretty much no serious tuners in Sydney use them. Melbourne is less of a problem. I had to take mine to C&V who had never tuned one before to get it sorted.

does anyone know, can you get a piggyback power fc like you can for the rx7's and many other cars to suit the mx5?
