yea mate used the wrong notch (3 to choose from doesnt make it any easier for someone who is very tired after a full day getting all the stuff on, not to mention the 4hr sessions a couple of days before)

Ok went for a drive, car sounds weird but still goes. Car has insane trottle response and heaps of bottom end, weird.
Car will not run on boost, crap!!!
I remebered that i had to run the cams (HKS cams) 1 tooth advanced on the other engine, so instead of pulling all that stuff off again i just used the adjustments on my cam gears.
Car runs better and sounds normal (has less throttle response, oh well) but still no go on boost.

I've checked all the vac lines and all the wires are connected, but have yet to put a multimeter on (sooo cant be bothered right now!)

The car will go with 1 or 2 psi but as soon as it goes over (close to 5 psi) it just cuts out, similar to when i was playing with the boost controller on my old engine and had too much boost - boost cut. But its still on the stock actuator, and that is plugged in.

Any ideas??

Dave

Saw my tuner the other day and he said the cam timing is off, so i'll be taking another look at those tomorrow and trial and error-ing till i get it going.

I'll post up the new power level once i get it tuned up again.
I'm also putting on that HKS VPC so hopefully that'll free up a few mor hp.

Dave
