Hmmm... you could be right. The picture just makes it look like it comes in through the fog light.

I wish they'd put a bit of a product description on their site though. Just having a picture of the CAI box isn't overly descriptive.

agreed..
i thought that it drew it in from the fog light too. some NB8As do have factory fog lights (look G'hey in my opinion but its a hole that could be used for the CAI.

i still think an SP kinda system on the cold side would be best... you'd prolly end up with a pipe length that was inbetween the shorty and a normal sp..

I had an open pod without shielding going across the front of the engine. That plus a cat-back exhaust. I made 82.1rwkw. From memory, you were 1kw higher than I and you had the highest power nat asp 1.8 on the day.

You had short ram and full exhaust inc. extractors 8)

Stopped doing Wakefield for now. Apart from being expensive, I'm saving the poor car a little bit. I'll be back down there though, when I earn a touch more. :)

Im just wondering, irwin83r has full exhaust inc extractor and similar CAI to Bevan...yet only makes 1KW more?

Bevan, do you have a full SP Motorsport exhaust?
I was assuming that full exhaust inc. extractor and CAI would prob get you closer to 90 RWKW...am I dreaming?

NB8B's have a higher compression ratio than an NB8A as well. I believe it's 9.5:1 Vs 10:1.

^^^
That's very similar to the autoexe one.

I wonder how efficient the panel filter is in comparison to the cone filter?

What's the cost of that D-Technique one?
