I reckon Sabre is on the money. I had heating problems with my import R31 skyline.....after putting a VG30DETT in it . Nothing to keep the air going through to where it was supposed to go. I also found adding a breather/bubble tank into the cooling system helped 100%. Went from overheating to a change of no more than 10 degrees after fixing the above.
