So did you go out and turn it on and off 12 times? I've had no input here but have been watching carefully in case i'm in the same debacle one day! :)

If the battery is flat then you can't expect all the electonic stuff to work, and IF it is working (backup battery) it won't have any power to turn the engine over so how are you going to know. :shock:
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

WOOHOO!!! Good to see you found it. And the LED light?! That's actually really smart, unless it's common and well known among theives... :)

GRAVE DIGGER!

What a life saver this thread was!
car had been sitting the garage for a few weeks, must have had the door cracked, battery totally dead.
did I quick charge and tried to turn her over, alarms and nothing else. Flashy red light depressed and all good :0 cheers guys!
