Hi all,
Long story, but I wish to convert my HLAs and camshaft to solid lifters and cam in my NA6 B6 (1.6) engine. I am currently running big lift, longish duration cams, which very few manufacturers can match in an 'out of the catalogue' solid lifter profile with a standard base circle. Two who can include Cat Cams and Toda Racing. However, in the Cat Cam catalogue all the solid lifter profiles are listed as the NB6 version of the B6 engine, not the older NA6 version of the engine.
Can anyone tell me whether the NB6 camshafts will fit into the NA6 head and drive the NA6 cam position sensor (which the NB6 doesn't seem to have)?
Thanks.

Re: NB6 vs NA6 camshafts
A thorough search of Miata.net suggests the NB6 intake cam can't drive the CAS on an NA6. Bummer.
