Re: NC Reflash
Thanks guys that helps heaps. I've found someone well renowned in underwood and knows what he is talking about when it comes to an nc. The pod filter I have does sit inside my bumper under the engine just behind the plastic mesh. I've dríven in the wet a few times and it doesn't seem to get wet where it has been placed. What other upgrades are recommended for performance before going all out with an SC kit?

Re: NC Reflash
Holy thread revival batman!...
Anyway, I'm starting to crave a bit more power and considering a flash.
I've got stock headers, but hesitant to change them as my muffler is fairly loud as is. My concern is that headers would make it uncomfortably loud. I could change to a quieter muffler and opt for headers, but time/money etc...
Did anyone end up getting a MX5Plus / Mania / Deckspeed flash on a NC without headers, and is it a noticeable difference?
thanks

Re: NC Reflash
You will probably find the cost outweighs the benefits for a most stock car with the local tuners.
If you still want a tune and you are after the best bang for buck then remote tuning with one of the US Tuners might be your best bet.
I went with remote tuning by Dynotronics because no one in Melbourne to my knowledge had any NC tuning experience at the time.
Plus, it cost me far less than if I was to take my car to Sydney to get it tuned.
