Before you go digging too deeply try jump starting it with another car/battery. There may be enough juice to power the lights and accessories just not enough to turn her over.

If you're missing the earth straps you will have issues like this. Check the one near heater hoses/extractors. No negative = no return path for the starter motor. Clicking is the main relay for starter.

Also if you took the gearbox and ppf out then check you reconnected and tightened the earth strap near the back of the ppf.
