Exhaust Manufacturer experiences Brisbane

Postby The American » Tue Aug 18, 2015 7:28 am

Hi All,

I've currently got a mild steel 2 1/4 exhaust but I would like to replace with a 3 inch stainless steel exhaust at some point. I'm interested in what people's experiences with custom exhaust makers in Brisbane have been.

Who have you used, and were you happy with what they produced?

Friends of mine have previously used Rob Bliss in Geebung on non-MX-5s with good reviews.

Whilst I have a full Racing Beat one on mine (I would recommend this), I have used CES to manufacture a custom cat back exhaust for my 800M. The end product was nothing short of brilliant! Shame my step son destroyed the 800M :(

Fat Pipes at Lawnton, do a lot of competition and high end street cars.

Very good work and know their stuff. I have used them for a couple of systems on different cars and the two workshops that look after my different cars both recommend Fat Pipes for any exhaust work.

I hit up right price exhausts in moss street.

They let me hear 3 different mufflers (without me even asking) before i decided on the loudest one.

We're talking around $300 for dump pipe backwards including 200 cell cat. Many people will suggest sophisticated zorsts, but these guys seemed good. got me my 160rwkw
td05-16g, megasquirt, custom zorst, msdroid tablet etc

They did the exhaust on my Red NA, happy with that, they do custom stuff and when I was there getting a bung installed for my WB02 sensor recently there were a few race cars present out front. Happy with the service and price.
