Postby Jakeeyjones » Fri Jan 23, 2015 12:26 am

Just bought an nb a couple days ago and would like to know if it is suppose to come with a torsen cause it appears to have an open diff? jacked it up and spun 1 wheel and they turned opposite ways...

No, not all of them came with a Torsen. Most would be open unless optioned or 10th anniversary edition.

That being said, the Torsen isn't like a normal LSD. It will act as though it were an open diff unless both wheels are loaded. Hence, jacking it up and spinning one won't make them lock.
