Hi all, just swapping out my 1.6 open for for a 1.8 LSD. Trying to put the new half shafts into the new LSD though front what i can see the C clip on the end if fowling somewhere in the diff.
Cause its a C clip i assume its keyed somewhere inside the diff though i dont know where.
If i remove the C clips the half shafts go in fine. Put then back on and they dont go in all the way.
Anyone able to provide a little help?
Thanks very much!

Re: Quick question (1.8 LSD)
In my experience, a firm tap is required. The clip is designed to retain the axle in the diff.

Yep, just give the shaft a quick shunt and it'll clip in.
