Factory workshop manual for the rebuild procedures. No idea about the bearing numbers.
NA6 and NB8A manuals are in this thread somewhere. viewtopic.php?f=76&t=37363&start=15 The NA6 one is the most comprehensive.

I've been thinking of doing my old one (lot of thinking, not much acting). Anyone know about these:

Likewise, but now you've got me thinking. There's an old 5 speed sitting in my shed with a selector fork problem and a bit of bearing noise and synchro wear ... Specialist tools have always been the drawback with gearboxes for me. My Dad used to rebuild them for me while I did all the engines.Purfler wrote:I've been thinking of doing my old one (lot of thinking, not much acting). Anyone know about these:

Re: NA 5 speed rebuild manual and bearing numbers?
Back to the original question about bearing numbers. One suggestion I have read is to take the bearings to a bearing supplier and they will match them, much cheaper than genuine, but I don't know what that actually means.
