Revs drop.

Hoping someone could help me on this.

Every time I go to blip the throttle the revs drop. :cry: This is when it's in neutral and the slightest tap of the throttle will make the revs drop but not enough to stall the car. Even going down gears, trying to rev match, the tap of the throttle will make it seem like it's about to struggle to get the revs up.

Anyone has/had similar problem? What can be done?
Car is a 1991 NA mx5.

Would appreciate whatever help I can get.

If the car hasn't been baseline serviced recently, it could be a number of things, but the following on idle drop is worth a look:
