If you get any change from $15 - $20k you will be cutting corners, an actual healthy 13B-REW
will easily punch out 220+ rwkw but the heat will decimate your NA, the handling will be worse.

Watch how drivable Andy's actually is, it was done before as the first bullet and they
stopped making them because they handled so badly.

If you want turbz, then just turbo the 5.

THIS IS AN IDIOTIC SWAP

I am all for crazy swaps, in the middle of two of them myself but don't do an idiotic swap,
have you seen the prices on Late 90's FD RX7's you can just buy one of those for less.

Yeah its certainly not a cheap conversion and a 13B PP engine alone will cost upto $10G without even touching the car. however its certainly not an IDIOTIC SWAP........... far from it infact in my opinion
Im a Rotor fanatic thru n thru n with a NA 13B PP punchin out 220kw the mx5 will be insane to drive & drift.

Ive got a pretty good idea of what to do and with the help of a few guys on here and some mates of mine that already drive and drift them here in australia and in USA & japan should be able to get it set up pretty well.....

Drifting is likely to change what you will need to upgrade......

True true. I love RX7's and I own two SA22s but I wouldn't want to ruin the handling for more power.
NA6 turbo - 140kw atw - not the most powerful but so much fun :D

Met a guy here in Vic and got to see his 13b Eunos.
He said it was the worst thing he had ever done.

As long as you keep the power plant frame it can be a nice conversion, I can't comment on how well they handle because i've only ever dríven one on the street and from memory I didn't fit well behind the wheel.

Shane at Bridgestone in Bentley WA is the guy to chat to about how they handle compared to a B6/BP MX-5.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Only had a short chat with this guy, he had a turbo nb as well and said he much preferred that.
His 13b was purely a race car, I would've loved to harass him more but he was on the job.
