Extractors for an NA Automatic?

Postby Kallaroo MX5 » Mon Sep 09, 2013 7:28 pm

Hello all,

I have tried a set from a manual NA and the oxygen sensor mount/hole hits the trans pan, is there a set for the auto?

Cheers

never ever seen any for sale specifically for the auto.

I would get a blanking bolt to block off the current O2 sensor hole, and get a new bung welded somewhere downstream / in the mid pipe section under the car.
You would have to lengthen the wire(s)

Yeh thought about that but it is also the bend of the pipe, it is all just too close and needs some major bending, thought there might be a set available somewhere.

You could get the extractors modified by an exhaust shop, they will know what to do.

Or sell it and buy a manual / do a manual conversion

What about the set Wozzah suggested to you a couple of years ago:

Only a few NA6 autos were originally Australian delivered so, apart from Wozzah's, you're best to check what's available in the US:
