6th gear, 100kph whoompwhoompwhoop sound?

Postby mx5002 » Mon Aug 05, 2013 12:26 pm

Sounds like it comes from the passenger side rear. But if it was a wheel bearing it should happen regardless of which gear I'm in yeah?
Only happens in 6th around the 100-120 mark.

Any thoughts guys
Thanks

Could be a slight buckle in the rim and/or incorrect balancing weights.

I had the same problem with my NA, new wheels + tyres + alignment made the noise go away. The noise only surfaced at higher speeds aswell.
