which short shifter is better?

I'm definitely one for the extended shifter. If you think the Lokiel's one is long, wait till you see the one in my Integra!

Well the tall one looks a bit too tall for me, it block the heater control when it is position in 3rd and 5th gear.

MiataRoadster have a great reputation and I think they're now back in stock.

I can't bring myself to get that long short shifter, just looks wrong to me but the short short shifter is on my shopping list.

It doesn't block access to the controls at all really, certainly not enough for me to really notice.

As far as looks go I think the long kit looks a little bit out of place in an otherwise standard interior but in my car with its shorty console and bucket seats and minimalist door trims it is very 'race' and looks good. The shift quality and ease of use are enough to offset the looks i reckon!

I've tried a few short shifters over the years and the Mazdaspeed I have now is the best by far. Not cheap, but it really is the best made and nicest feeling shifter buy a long shot.
I've used
(1) cheapy from ebay/ 2 out of 10. Crap, should have thrown $80.00 out the window.
(2) IL Motorssport/ 4 out of 10. Just wasn't very good. IMO, Others might disagree.
(3) Neilex/ 5 out of 10. Felt good but couldn't adjust properly to get rid if vibration. Bought from Rav 4 and they refunded with no fuss. Good work Rav 4
(4) Mazdaspeed/ 10 out of 10. I can't fault it. Beautiful feel about 20% shorter and silky smooth. Sits in exactly the same position as stock. Others don't.

No, I haven't seen or tried the Miataroadster one. So can't really comment.
Colster on this forum recommended me the Mazdaspeed and Dave @ Mania uses them also on his race cars.

Bill from MiataRoadster produced his own SSK which is what I have - though I haven't seen the MAZDASPEED on, I'd bet my left nut that they're NOT the same.

Well seems like I am in the middle now, I need to decide should I get mazdaspeed one or miataroadster one, their price is like $70s different.
