02 sensor suppliers

Postby dimarg » Sun Sep 16, 2012 4:16 pm

Hey guys,

I've been trying to hunt down a new O2 sensor for my nb8a, however every quote I've received (repco, bursons, sca, auto-one etc) have all given me figures north of $200 for both direct fit and universal.

From prices I've seen in older threads, such pricing seems somewhat exorbitant.

Is this the going rate for an O2 sensor these days? Or is there somewhere more reasonably priced in Melbourne?

Cheers, Giuls

Yeah, well worth a look OS, as I was going to say that last time I purchased one from the usual suspects you mention in 2004 they were around $90-$100.

Buying overseas always seems to be the case when it comes to part shopping. It's a shame there aren't any real affordable local options.

Thanks for your ideas though guys

I was quoted $112 for a Bosch 0 258 986 507 (from this thread) when enquiring at repco recently. Didn't end up buying it as I was researching disaster scenarios. I believe it doesn't come with the harness, just the sensor.
