I know the Main issue is my driving style. I am rough on the car. That's why I'm upgrading every thing as I go so I can do full rpm launches at the drags and flat change gears around a track.

I think I am going to install the Cusco LSD and see how it goes. If I have issues with the stub axles or centre again I will have to have a look at the Getrag diff and stub axles. I think they will be the strongest option and for around $2,000 + diff it doesn't seem that bad.

s#it yeah!!!
Vett diff in the rear!!! Nice one

FC 5 speed with adaptor plate or welded bellhousing, and one extra mount welded to the rear subframe, custom driveshaft and a rear gearbox mount, no PPF.

That's all well and good when you have a clean slate and can plan your build from the start and not when you have spent $7,000 plus on the gearbox and clutch. I need a solution that will work with the gearbox I have now. Like a diff centre (fingers crossed) or a Getrag and stub axles.

I hope the diff centre isn't a band aid and it let's go in the spectacular style of the last one. If anything breaks I hope it is the stub axles. That way I can sell the whole diff as one and put it toward the Getrag.
If it aint on the rev limiter then you shouldn't be behind the wheel!

FC diff alone then?

Very very easy to adapt.

Brett,
How about a Getrag or Ford diff conversion as used by V8Roadsters with a custom driveshaft from Veem? Talk to Keith or Jeremy from FM and your local Veem for prices.

Les
