I'm about to install XtremeHD 1.8 clutch and mx5plus light flywheel on my na6.
Can I reuse the same factory clutch/pressure plate bolts? any difference in threads?

Re: Clutch bolts for XtremeHD 1.8
i just had to pull 2 snapped bolts off a sr20 flywheel that were put on with a torque wrench. I wouldnt risk it. the owner went to united fasteners and got the bolts for 10 bucks.

the thread should be the same- just run a bolt(s) in to check. Normally the bolts are reused and the same for most other bolts on a vehicle. The OEM bolt - is a specfiic type for the application- the engineers choose the spec and bolts are not just randomly selected. If you want to buy new bolts you should use the same spec.

The clutch/bolts thread originally from -

From Skyntara- ""
Pulling the box a second time, it was very very obvious that the pressure plate was not flush with the flywheel. Replaced the bolts with some that were actually the right thread, torqued them down properly and never had a problem after that.""
I guess will confirm on the day I have the box out.

the same thread should not be confused with the thread / bolt length. A thread is normally meant to mean its standard eg metric, unf ,unc, etc etc. Its all checkable- use a vernier for the length. If the replacement product uses different bolt spec for OEM you would think it would be pointed out.
