NA8 engine rebuild complete!
Was done at Engine Reconditioning Services in Auburn. So many reconditioning places around, they all sound the same to me. That place is where my mechanic has been sending them for 8yrs with never any problems apparently, reckons they know what they're doing and use Jap parts except US rings. Also reckons they dont normally do intake manifold but coz he knows them he sent that to them plus my throttle body to "dip it" to clean it all out. Checked out Higginbottom but they said it would take 3 - 5 weeks!!

Nah was always too worried about being embarrassed before lol. Might do sometime when the opportunity avails itself out of curiosity.
