Just to confirm.

We arent debating whether adding an expansion tank is an idea that has merit are we?
Isnt it a case of mistaken thread title...

Isnt the thread about moving the overflow to the washer location and use a cowl position washer bottle?

Cos if the threads about that, lets stop talking expansion tanks cos thats a useless conversation in this context (and in an mx5).

As for knowing that MX5s are called MX-5s. How would I know? My car doesnt have badges. Badges are heavy.

Depends on the definition of expansion tank, header tank and overflow tank.
