Headbolt thread size Mazda bp

Postby sailaholic » Tue Feb 21, 2012 11:35 pm

Anyone know the thread size on the bp head bolts?

Pitch is 1.5. m12 is almost a slide on fit.

I can't get a m10 die too start on the bolts, and a m10 tap is quite loose in the block.

Is it really m11?

Also any recommendations for a place on the south side of Brisbane for getting a plug tap?

Yup, I searched, not even google was helping.

Pretty sure they're 11mm, but I will confirm!

I can't confim 100% (don't have one in front of me to check!!), but an engine parts supplier I deal with list them as 11x1.5mm
