Well it's been dríven a lot since then; it did a wakefield day in between that and now, and have had not even a hint of an issue in that period.
Also, just did a cold start now, and no more noise...?

The 8 Km was because one of the employees needed a running car to get to repco to pick up parts. The noise is lifter related or you wouldnt have made it home. Use an oil flush, let it idle for half hour, then chang with a 20w50 and problem solved.
