Hi peeps,
Recently noticed my boots around the transmission are worn, so while replacing both parts I thin ill install my shortshifter.
Any tips to getting the job done would be appreciated.

I took a photo of the order that the parts should go, but can't find it. The kit should have the parts (except the bolts) in order anyways, it's pretty straightforward as long as it's all in order.
If they are not in order, take a photo and post it up and I can tell you the order.
My only tip is to put some loctite on the bolts, or a locking washer.

Thanks for all the advice ill get to it on Saturday and let you know how it goes, shifted was bought from a recognised American importer/exporter so hopefully its legit

One important trick with fitting the short shifter.
Make sure the shaft is a good fit in the lower bush, otherwsie your shifter will be very stiff if the shaft is a tight fit on the bush.
It the fit is loose, then so will your shifter!
If it's tight, and they usually are, ream out the bush a little so the shaft goes in easily, but not losely and does'nt have too much freeplay in it.
Then you'll end up with a short shifter that is like a hot knife through butter.
