I'm looking for someone who can make a custom length throttle cable in Brisbane - hopefully before christmas. Can anyone suggest where I could get that done or where to buy the parts required?
Many thanks!

Re: Brisbane: Custom length throttle cable
I gave Max Instruments a call. They said they only do speedo cables and don't have the fittings to do a throttle cable.
I've been advised that Advanced Trailer Supplies could do it but they're closed until mid Jan 2011.

Re: Brisbane: Custom length throttle cable
After calling half of Brisbane I found a place that has fittings for custom cables.

Anything with nipples in the URL is worth visiting.
I used a Mazda B2600 throttle cable on mine, could be worth a shot?

But you were going from throttle pedal to pre-sc throttle body? The pedal end has a different 'nipple' compared to when you're going from post-sc throttle body to pre-sc throttle body.saboteur wrote:I used a Mazda B2600 throttle cable on mine, could be worth a shot?
Thanks for the advice but it's ok, I've got it sorted.
