these things are often just a case of asking the right businesses. Bursons are a bone fide supplier to trade and most things on cars related to electrics have "standard" fittings. They have access to the catalogs. The suggestions about MX5 specialists is a good one. I have had 2 cases for my car where a visit merely to get info both resulted in a very good reception and assistance from the MX5 factory ( Ringwood)

I've given Dick a call in relation to this problem, and although i went with the cheaper quote, he was very helpful in that he took the time to research my problem and call me back to give me advice. I'm glad i have the issue sorted, the car now idles perfectly, all i need now is to figure out why my heater gauge turns on in revers order. I think i might create a new thread.
