Looking For Timing Light - Melbourne Western Suburbs

Postby cshaks » Wed Dec 16, 2009 9:40 pm

Hi all... I need to bump my timing down a smidge, as I noticed some pinging in the 39 deg heat today...and unfortunately, my mate with the very cool workshop around the corner has packed up and moved to Adelaide!
Is there anyone reasonably close to Altona who could lend me a timing light for a short while?
A six pack of amber fluid, would be provided as a compensation....

Thanks
Chris

They don't cost much more than a sixpack or two

I bought one off ebay a few years ago for $20, I tested it against an expensive one and it showed the same reading.

Worst case you can borrow mine if I end up out in your part of the world some time, but i'd just buy one.
