Bigdog's SP Engine Rebuild (not 56K friendly)

Well, it's been a while since this thread started, so I thought I should conclude it! The rebuild was interrupted by an extended overseas holiday, so I only got back to it this week. I had misconfigured the timing first time round, confused by the three potential timing marks on the exhaust cam pulley. Reset this and found we had no spark... traced this to the cam position sensor. Replaced this and away she went, purring like a kitten as you can see below. Feels even stronger than pre rebuild despite the drop in compression, and best of all it no longer pings! Job done! :D

Ready for MORE BOOST !
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Sound more like a "Big Girls" motor

When is it making its long awaited "debut" further north.

With lower compression can it now run Thermo Thermo Thermo Nuclear Wingszzz Sauce  ?
Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.
