Engine would not start but now does...?

Postby Duj » Thu Nov 12, 2009 3:59 pm

Hey Guys,

Was a nasty 39c in Adelaide yesterday...

Yesterday I went & hopped in my NA6, turned the key and 'nothing' happenned...?
Id been driving the car earlier in the day...

-Checked all my terminals/fuses-all good
-had full power,lights,all acc.

when I turned the key to start It wouldnt turn over, there was nothing, not a sound, not a tick,
absolutely nothing... :?

Roll started fine, switched it off, tried the key and nothing again...
So I left it.

Got up today went outside & started up fine... over & over it would keep turning over like a dream...

What could it be? I suspect the heat did something but what ????

Ive NEVER had a problem with this car before....

Anyone?
Currently driving an 01' GS300 2jz...

If we didn't have fuel injection I would suggest vapour lock. Doesn't the NB have an issue with coil packs in hot weather...could this be it.
