should be a walk in the park
the axel is held in by a round circlip. I usuallly get it apart with 2 massive screwdrivers used as levers between the CV joint & the diff housing.
although my car is a NA6 I have a NB8A Torsen diff fitted
I do have to unbolt a bolt to give the half shaft some movement. But I thought it was the upper bolt.

NB Diff axle seal replacement question
undoing the upper bolt....allows you to swing wheel part outwards & downwards, therefore giving you enough room to get the CV joint out of the way to replace the seal on the diff housing.
You may have to take the brake calliper off if the brake lines are not long enough. I can't recall.
