The same place as it is on all the other NB8B+ 6 speed transmissions. On the passenger side of the gearbox. You might need to remove the centre brace to get to it though.

Woops

Cheapest option is to remove the gearbox and take it to a gearbox place to get it rebuilt. Easiest/expensive option is to put the car on a flatbed and get them to take it to a gearbox place or Mania, though I'm not sure if David repairs gearboxes, though he can definitely remove it from the car. Could be a good excuse to replace/upgrade your clutch seeing as the gearbox has to come out.

Garry is probably right on all scores. I am guessing that gearbox removal might not be your choice as a DIY. If the car is still driveable you might be able to drive it to your selected repair centre. Your local auto guys will probably be able to tell you where to go. Your location may help forumites to suggest a repairer.

I know Daniel had rebuilt some boxes when he was at mania, if your willing to travel outside of sydney; feel free to pm and I'll pass you his number. It may work out cheaper and easier to source a second hand 6 speed if your planning further DYI.

I'm not sure if David at Mania can repair the gearbox. Call them and find out. I'm sure he can recomend you to a good guy to go to if he cant do it himself. Gearboxes and diffs are pretty specialised areas so most general repair places out source them to a specialist.

just an update, got the transmission out so lucky to find a manual for it, pulled it all apart, and put everything back together, to our surprise everything was good and got all the gears back missed my baby good to have her back, moral of the story must read instruction b4 undoing any bolts, just 1 bolt could cause u need to pull out the whole gearbox
