just wondering if the ford motorsport 440cc green top is a direct plug and play injector for a 98 model?

Looks like they have the rectangular plugs, so you would need to change them on the loom or get an adapter.
RX7 non turbo injectors are 440cc and plug right in.

injector question
I was under the impression that rotary injectors have a different spray pattern to norm.

injector question
Not as far as I am aware. They are of the same pintle type tip as the na6 injectors I replaced, as opposed to the nb injectors which have 4 little holes.
FYI the 195500-2010 injectors I have actually tested at 440cc/min
