question is how do you put it on?

The bush i need simply sits inside the turret and the ball of the shifter rests inside it...i think... so it would be as simple as removing the shifter again, placing bush inside turret, put shifter back in turret, put bolts back in and tighten up

nope, he's talking about the bushes that hold the large ball part of the shifter - the fulcrum part of the lever.

Help with shifter, i am confused

well, new parts in, wow, what a difference, the shifter is now much tighter and the shift alot smoother :)

If you have a loose or wobbly shifter when its in gear, i can now recomend you pull it out and check all the bushings and stuff that capture the fulcrum ball of the shifter

on a negative point tho, i seems that where the 3 bolts screw into the top of the turret is bit of a weak point, completely stripped one of the threads while just hand tightening one of the bolts in, so be carefull.

Anyone have some small heli-coils?
