Hi guys,
Was driving along today and all of a sudden the steering went heavy in my NA8. Turns out the bolt which holds my power steering pump to the engine block came off somehow. This caused the a/c and power steering belt to come off.
Would you guys know what sort of bolt I would need to replace it? My initial guess is a long M8 bolt? I haven't really had a good chance to look at it properly.
Thanks in advance

NA8 Power Steering Bolt
Mine came loose after installing my supercharger, I torqued it up as well
.
When I reinstalled it I used some medium strength loctite, has not come loose again. Destroyed a new supercharger belt too (bugger). With the SC the PS pulley is fixed as the belt adjustment is done by other means.

Did you happen to take notice of what type of bolt it was? And roughly it's length? Might take some of the guesswork out when I go to purchase one.

Miraculously found it in my engine bay at 11pm at night with a torch !
For reference it was an M10 by 130mm with the last 33mm being threaded.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

All fixed. Just had to find an M10 nut around the house for it.
Thanks all.
Oddly enough one of the bolts on my air cond compressor was loose too. These two things must have worked together to allow the belt to slip off...
