i would say it acts as both but moreover as a shroud to collect the cold air since the way air enters the engine bay from the RHS headlight isn't as efficient as the one on the left..
i can't brain today.. i have the dumb..

Thats what I thought one side has a small hole for air to enter and the other side is missing this hole...

Can always cut it less weight...
every ounce counts

NB intake

this will fit onto an NB8B?

i was thinking the cold side intake but a DIY of that will already be close to $200.
so i'd rather spend a bit more to get a reputable brand that has done the R&D.
