One of the rear bolts has a sleave/ Coller in it
th lower coller is removed with 2 screw drivers in the the slots provided
the upper sleave has a thread in it to help the removal procese ( only in the NA6) the NA8 and NB's have no thread and I use a modifided Dyna bolt to Aid in the removal
Removing the PPF makes it easyer to get the G/Box out and IN
Power Plant Frame help!

As one of the suckers err mates who performed this task for Fatty, we left the ppf attached at the back and removed the 3 bolts (i think) at the front where it attaches to the gearbox. Pita to remove the gearbox around this but it is doable.

got suck on the same part a couple of weeks ago. knew i should have taken a picture when i finally got it out. you need a bolt larger in diametre (see manual) to go up bolt hole, hopefully screw into some thread on a sleeve that the standard bolt doesn't screw into, wriggle that larger bolt and pull it down to move the sleeve down just a little so it's not connecting the diff and the ppf... then if you're lukcy inscrew the larger bolt out of the sleeve. if it doesn't unscrew then theres a hold on the side there somewhere that you can screw a small bolt into to hold the sleeve still while you unscrew the larger bolt. get all that out and it comes out no prob.
